Located in the heart of Hollywood and adjacent to the historic Capitol Records building, the Argyle House is an 18-story boutique luxury residential tower offering panoramic views. Residents have access to top-notch amenities, including a landscaped terrace with a pool, hot tub and BBQs, a library, gym, an entertainment lounge, ground-floor commercial space and assigned parking.
Argyle House needed an energy-efficient lighting solution for their 201-space subterranean parking garage. Primary considerations included low maintenance costs, long usage life and superior, glare-free light that provided ample security.
FSC Lighting’s L28500 Series Lensed Strips were installed throughout the parking garage to provide generous light on every level. With a clean, modern construction that delivers premium performance and durability, the L28500 is ideal for parking garages. For additional savings, the L28500 series strips were outfitted with programmable occupancy sensors which turn the connected fixtures on when it detects the presence of an occupant or vehicle, and switch off or to 50% (as per mode selected) after the area has been vacant for a period of time. By adopting the LED solution over the fluorescent option, the structure will use 42% less energy – a considerable cost saving. In addition, the long life of the LED system will contribute to a significant reduction in maintenance costs by virtually eliminating the colossal expense of re-lamping.
