Associated Grocers of New England-Sully’s Superette in Goffstown, New Hampshire
Associated Grocers of New England-Sully’s Superette in Goffstown, New Hampshire had deferred maintenance and desperately needed new lighting. The store was poorly lit, so Sully’s called on FSC Lighting to create a custom kit to replace two lamp T5H0 strip fixtures, which consumed 117W per four-foot section, but was not delivering proper light levels for a retail application.
FSC Lighting produced a custom strip fixture retrofit kit that was 3.25”wide by 92”long, with one 25 watt LED Light Bar. This new solution was able to deliver an average of 90 foot candles.
In addition to excellent new lighting, FSC integrated an advance lighting control system that enabled Associated Grocers of New England-Sully’s Superette to task tune the lights to approximately 70 percent of full light output, thus saving an additional 30% in energy after the retrofit was completed.
Desired light levels will be able to be maintained for the life of the lighting system, which should be many years. This project is now saving the store over $12,000 per year.
